Our Team / Our Goals
-
Learn
This is a new sport to the Mt. Lebanon Area and we are here to teach you everything you need to know about the game! All we need you to do is:
-Show up with a positive attitude
-Be open to learning
-Care about your team
-Ultimately learn not just about the rules, but the heart of rugby! -
Value
Rugby culture is very unique since it truly is more than a sport and emphasizes togetherness and community. It is also a way of seeing your place not just on the field but in the world! The universally accepted values of rugby are integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline, and respect.

Feel free to check out the season schedule and mark up your calendars. Come ready for a great time to meet new people and enjoy the wonderful game of rugby.
Rugby 101

if you are a new fan and don’t quite get what’s going on yet, we made this super basic guide to help you understand the rules and enjoy the sport a little more.
Meet Coach Bri
Hi everyone! My name is Bri Allen, and I’m currently serving as the head coach for our program!
I recently graduated from Pennsylvania Western University, completing a Masters in School & Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also graduated from RMU with a degree in Clinical Sport Psychology with 2 minors in Education and Sport Management in 2021. I currently serve as the School-Based Mental Health Counselor for a non-profit called Outreach Teen & Family Services.
For the past couple of years, I have been gifted the opportunities to coach all levels from youth to collegiate players. I was the assistant Women’s Rugby coach at Robert Morris and played on the RMU Women’s Rugby team throughout my college career. I also played in 5 AllStar/Select Side teams with the Allegheny Rugby Union all around the country. During the summer off-seasons, you can catch me devoting my time to youth development all over Pittsburgh!
I truly love rugby and decided that it was my time to give back to the sport in any way I can.
I am proud to be part of the start of the Blue Devils Rugby Club.
